Feels like forever since I posted anything, even a simple hello. I know this is very late but, how were everyone's holidays? Well at the end of last month, my honey and I took off to see his fav football team .:.The Dallas Cowboys.:. play against the Baltimore Ravens. Well as everyone already knows, the Cowboys were embarrassingly beaten by the Ravens. But we had so much fun the whole time. Except for when I got sick at the game. It was at night and it was freezing! So I had a cold through Christmas =(. But got over it! Hopefully I can successfully post some pics on here of our good time! Look At The Top Post =)
didn't really get anything "beauty wise" for X-mas. But my kids did get me some perfume for part of my gift. I got Burberry The Beat and it smells awesome!!
This weekend is going to be just a stay at home weekend relaxing. No plans whatsoever. I don't know why I even bothered with makeup. I guess sometimes a girl wants to feel pretty for no reason. So here's my FOTD☺

I haven’t gotten anything in awhile. I think last thing I got was my full sized Pure Anada foundation. But that’s it. Money times suck right now but I think we all know that! I am definitely putting myself on a “No-Buy” for a pretty long time. So just wanted to get one little last thing before I’m in “No-Buy” jail. So I wanted to try out Avon’s Satin Gel Liner in “Black pearl”. According to Avon, “It is a soft gel color that glides on easily for long-wearing definition. Contains high-grade, ultra intense pigment for the most dramatic defenition ever! “ My take: It does glide on very smoothly. No tugging whatsoever. But it seems like I have to keep applying it in layers just to get it dark enough. When using the Indelibe Gel Liners, one swipe does the trick. But it takes a little more when using this one. I found that there are tiny little gold flecks in the gel liner. I thought that was kinda of neat. You have a choice to order it with the Bent Eye Liner Brush or without. It’s actually cheaper if you buy it with the brush which is $5.99. When you buy the liner separate it is $7.00. That’s kinda the only reason I got the brush. Otherwise I don’t normally use bent eye liner brushes. I prefer using the small thin arts-n-craft brushes to apply my liner. I tested this using Too Faced Eyeshadow Insurance because that’s just what I normally wear . Even with the primer, it did not last through the day. Although I did not get “racoon eyes”, the liner just seemed to disappear at the end of the day. My lids are very oily so someone else might have better luck making this last on their lids. It’s an ok liner. It’s not awful! I think I will continue using this because I like how smoothly it goes on. I probably will prefer to wear this when I know I won’t be at a certain place for long and it wouldn’t matter to me if it disappeared by the time I got back home. Comes in 4 colors. Black Pearl, Black/Brown Pearl, Navy pearl, and Brown Pearl. I RUBBED MY FINGER OVER BOTH LINES FOR SMUDGE TEST
Nothing Special. Just Super Bored!

Within the last couple of days I got 2 packages that I had been waiting for. Camellia Rose and Lauress. Both of these companies I haven’t tried before. I got my package from Camellia Rose first. It had taken almost a month to get it only because my email is retarded. Every time Jen would try to email me about shipping costs, I wouldn’t get them! So I had no idea she was trying to contact me! So about a week ago I thought I would try and find out what was going on with my order and wrote her an email. She then responded and explained that she had been trying to get a hold of me for weeks! Ugh! Stupid Yahoo! Lol. I ordered her primer in the original formula. I know some people get reactions from the regular formula but I took my chances and ordered a full size. And I Love It! This has been the best primer I have used. I’ve only tried a couple of others including: Smashbox’s Photo Finish Primer (which made me break out), OceanMist’s Skinsuals Oil Free Makeup Primer (had a horrific smell and made me break out), Fyrinnae’s Under There Primer (I did like this but they discontinued it), and Classy Minerals Smooth primer (descent but didn’t wow me). When I put on Jen’s primer my pores almost seem to disappear! No other product does that for me. And my makeup does last a lot longer which is the best part. I am so glad that I finally ordered. I had always heard how great it was and now I’m kicking myself for not purchasing it sooner. She also threw in a sample of Goat’s Milk Mango Soap. Smells really good and makes my skin soft! Now on to my 2nd order that I got. Lauress! They really take the time to make sure your package is secure. Everything was nicely sealed and wrapped tight around a cardboard. They even threw in a free sample of eyeshadow! I wanted to try some foundation samples and blush samples. For the foundations I picked the Minimalist formula in Fresh Gold and Warm Gold and the Etheral formula in Warm Gold. I think I did pretty good with the color choices. They both look good. Warm Gold might might be an eensy weensy bit dark on me but you can’t even tell. I think that Fresh Gold will be better for me though especially when the summer starts coming to an end. First day I tested the foundation I was actually on my way to a concert. I couldn’t decide which foundation I wanted to try first because I had heard that even though the Ethereal provides better coverage, that the Minimalist lasts longer. Well for that day since I was going to be perspiring like a dog at a concert, I needed both benefits so I decided to just use both. I put a layer of the Ethereal in Warm Gold first and then a layer of the Minimalist in Fresh Gold after. I think it worked pretty good. All the way up to the concert I really liked the finish and I thought the color suited me well. By the time I got home (like 2am) my makeup didn’t exactly feel fresh only because I had such a good time. I didn’t expect it be fresh so I’ll have to do some more days of real testing. Here I am before I left the house. Concert was about 90 miles away so I threw my makeup on in a hurry because we were running late and I still had to get my kids to my mom‘s.
