.:.Avon's Satin Gel Eye Liner and Going To "No-Buy Jail".:.
I haven’t gotten anything in awhile. I think last thing I got was my full sized Pure Anada foundation. But that’s it. Money times suck right now but I think we all know that! I am definitely putting myself on a “No-Buy” for a pretty long time. So just wanted to get one little last thing before I’m in “No-Buy” jail. So I wanted to try out Avon’s Satin Gel Liner in “Black pearl”. According to Avon, “It is a soft gel color that glides on easily for long-wearing definition. Contains high-grade, ultra intense pigment for the most dramatic defenition ever! “ My take: It does glide on very smoothly. No tugging whatsoever. But it seems like I have to keep applying it in layers just to get it dark enough. When using the Indelibe Gel Liners, one swipe does the trick. But it takes a little more when using this one. I found that there are tiny little gold flecks in the gel liner. I thought that was kinda of neat. You have a choice to order it with the Bent Eye Liner Brush or without. It’s actually cheaper if you buy it with the brush which is $5.99. When you buy the liner separate it is $7.00. That’s kinda the only reason I got the brush. Otherwise I don’t normally use bent eye liner brushes. I prefer using the small thin arts-n-craft brushes to apply my liner. I tested this using Too Faced Eyeshadow Insurance because that’s just what I normally wear . Even with the primer, it did not last through the day. Although I did not get “racoon eyes”, the liner just seemed to disappear at the end of the day. My lids are very oily so someone else might have better luck making this last on their lids. It’s an ok liner. It’s not awful! I think I will continue using this because I like how smoothly it goes on. I probably will prefer to wear this when I know I won’t be at a certain place for long and it wouldn’t matter to me if it disappeared by the time I got back home. Comes in 4 colors. Black Pearl, Black/Brown Pearl, Navy pearl, and Brown Pearl. I RUBBED MY FINGER OVER BOTH LINES FOR SMUDGE TEST
